An Idea

Am I human too you?
When do I become less than an object,
less than a background noise,
when do I become part of your routine,
something you are so used to ignoring.

When you shut your door,
draw your curtains,
I am on the outside.
When you commute to work,
sit in your office,
and have those “water cooler moments”
I am wondering when my next meal with arrive.

Turn a blind-eye.
Check your phone;
change the track on your Ipod.
Anything to avoid eye contact,
with the person you think you don’t know,
you can’t relate with.
You never know me,
you don’t know me,
and you never want to know me.

But you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.
Walk on by; immerse yourself in your own world.

i realise this is really airy-fairy and too much of a lecture, but we could use parts of it or change it a bit, i wrote it myself while watching secret millionaire. could this be what is written on the cardboard box's or could it be a narration over apart of the film.??? need answers group when you check the blog.

Reponse: Mr. Smith sent me a link to the opening of trainspotting, and although we dont want it as fast paced as this, i think maybe that is the route to go down, PLEASE WATCH THIS GROUP!

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family.
Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars,
compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good
health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed
interest mortage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your
friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a
three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics.
Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning.
Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing
game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose
rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable
home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up
brats you spawned to replace yourself.

Choose your future.

Choose life.

John Hodges.

Caitlin. This poem is far too iconic for you to use but if you look at my blog there is some posts on John Cooper Clarke who has been a big influence on the arctic monkeys.
