this is a video highlighting stereotypes.



and i think the answer to there question is it brings us comfort to know we our someone unique we are not them, we define ourselves to be diferent whether it be the colour of our skin, the salary we earn, the car we drive, it what we grow up with , even in films that appear so innocent if you read into them we can see age old stereotypes i found an interesting video.. again on youtube to show Disney's use of stereotypes.

They'll cut off your ear in the Middle East? All Arab women are harem? Why are Jasmine and Esmeralda so overtly sexual? Native Americans from Peter Pan are literally red? Or savages in Pocahontas? How many times do the crows from Dumbo call each other 'brother'? The African American workers never learned to read or write but they're happy slaving away in the rain?
